The Fall Recreational program details, requirements, and other program logistics are noted below. All registrants are encouraged to read all requirements thoroughly prior to registering. Questions are to be directed to the Rec Program / Campus Directors listed at the bottom of the page.

Fall Rec North & South Calendar:  

FALL 2018 U5-U10 Schedule and Game Dates:

 ~September 29: Coaching Meeting, all volunteer coaches (U5-U10)
 ~September 30: Team Rosters emailed and released
 ~October 1 (week of): First week of practices
 ~October 8: Game Schedules posted BY October 8th
 ~October 13: Opening Day of Games** doubleheader games for home opener
Game Dates: 10/13**doubleheader, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/12**(U10 age group only plays 1/12); rain date 12/9 if needed

LAST DAY OF GAMES IS 12/15 for U5-U8
***No games on 11/24*** rain date 12/9 if needed
**U10 age group only plays 1/12 (U5-U8 have last game 12/15)

 ~Membership to FYSA (Player Pass)

 ~Entry into the Gasparilla Tournament for North & South teams U10-U19
 ~Contribution to Facility Costs
 ~Contribution to Club Costs

Does Not Include:
 ~Uniforms for U12-U19--members will order via link sent via www.soccer.com (member payment direct to www.soccer.com)--delivery to participant home.  NOTE: RETURNING TBU U12 and up PLAYERS CAN WEAR FALL 2017-2018 Uniforms!!
 ~Soccer cleats, shin guards and ball (U8 and younger play with a No. 3, U10-U-12 play with a No. 4, U14-U19  use a No. 5)
 ~Team Sponsorship Fees
 ~Personal Travel Expenses (if applicable)
 ~Entry into the Gasparilla Tournament for North & South Teams U6-U8 (Entry fee ranges from $150-$200 per team). Go to Tournaments on Home Page for more information
 ~Tournament entry fees other than Gasparilla for all age groups

REGISTRATION FEES 2018: 
Refer to the above table for age group and cost specifics. 

**12U-19U teams participating at North or South Location will participate in the TARSA League and will play home games at Radice/Monroe and travel for away games**


REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
All participants interested in Fall Recreational Soccer age groups U5-U10 are encouraged to register by September 10, 2018 by midnight. Registrations received after midnight September 10, 2018 will incur a $15.00 late registration fee. Late registrants are also subject to team availability.

Registrations in age groups U12-U19 are encouraged to register by September 23, 2018 by midnight.  Registrations received after midnight September 23, 2018 will incur $15.00 late registration fees. Late registrants are also subject to team availability.

Participants in age groups U12-U19 will be ordering their own uniform via link sent from www.soccer.com, ALL U12-U19 participants are encouraged to register early. NOTE: RETURNING TBU U12 and up PLAYERS CAN WEAR FALL 2017-2018 Uniforms!!

Tampa Bay United will NOT have extra uniforms for those who do not receive in time for season start.

Coaches Needed

Tampa Bay United Recreational Program success is due largely to our Volunteer Coaches.  Coaches are needed at all age groups. If you are interested in coaching, select Head Coach or Assistant Coach when registering on-line. A member of the staff will contact you.

All volunteer coaches must pass a National Back Ground check, complete an online Concussion Course (30 Minutes), and complete SafeSport Certification with certificate (online course sent to coach) to coach at any of TBU's facilities.  North Campus Coaches are required to complete the National Alliance for Youth Sports Training Class (nays.org).  Head Coach only qualifies for Volunteer Reimbursement ($50.00) U10-U19 at end of season if the campus is charged the $50 volunteer fee.

Special Requests

Special requests for Coach and practice night conflict. Special requests must be placed in account during registration-no emails for special requests will be accepted.



Requests for coach or practice night conflict is not a guarantee. Payment of $50.00 will be assessed to account if member decides not to participate if special request is not met in addition to club refund policy.

Playing up more than one age group:
Special Requests will ONLY be honored by TBUR in accordance with USYSA (United States Youth Soccer Association) and FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) guidelines regarding the Recreational Division. USYSA and FYSA expressly prohibit recruiting or building Recreation Division teams. TBUR is a member of both USYSA and FYSA; therefore, the TB United Recreational Board will abide with this guideline. TBUR failure to comply may result in fines, penalties and/or suspension.**

**No requests will be honored to to play down in age group

**U5-U12 are subject to FYSA play up rules--single birth year play-up only allowed.

**Highschool age players may be combined team per FYSA age guidelines

***TBU reserves the right to combine single year age groups based on registration numbers and FYSA rules for in house soccer. This means a single year age group U5-U8 can be combined to U5/U6 and also U7/U8 in accordance with FYSA playing rules.

Refund Policy

Tampa Bay United Rowdies reserves the right to not refund any or all of the registration fees once registration and payment has been completed (payment is due at time of registration).

Volunteering Opportunities

For U10-U19 age groups, $50 volunteer fee reimbursement can be earned by completing 5 approved volunteer hours. More information will be provided at the beginning of the season through email announcements or accessing the volunteer tab on the website.
